Our BBQ was a hit! Dirk grilled the hamburgers and he had a great time. There were even a few burgers left!

Dani brought enough of her magazines and pattern booklets that she doesn’t need any more that we gave TWO to every person that wanted to be in the drawing! TWO! How cool is that?

I brought Jelli-Beenz yarn and each person that wanted to be in the drawing got 2 skeins each. This will make a cute vest or hat and sock set for a little critter (child). We sure had a great time.

Since the park is central to most parts of the valley, and the shady trees kept the summer heat at bay, we decided that next week we will meet at the park again. Dani was able to get 2 picnic tables for our dinner so we will meet in the same area this upcoming week. I will bring chairs again. I will try to talk Taylor into baking cookies for us. She sure has had a great time baking the Molasses Crinkles recipe that Marian Hartung shared with her.

Mary, I’ll pick you up. Kelley should be back on her feet next week and is planning to be there. Get out your phones, emails and soup cans to let everyone know they are invited.

See you Thursday!

Tina

On Thursday July 22 we are dining on the veranda, opps! I mean in the park. In Logan at 50 South and 200 East there are some large trees and the Merlin Olson Park restrooms. This is the area where the Gardener’s Market is set up on Saturday mornings. This is easy to find! Go East on Center Street until you see the Central Milling silos. Take this right turn and it snake down around to 200 East. Once you get to the river going through the park you will see our party getting started!

We are setting up just before 6PM. Burgers go on the grill at 6 and we’ll serve up in about 15 minutes.

Please bring a drink, chips, or some other side dish. Hamburgers, buns and typical condiments are provided.

Rita is back and she is going to be there. Bring your finished objects to show her.

See you Thursday!

Tina

Our very last day May 14

Rita leaves on May 15! Massachusetts is Rita’s destination. Make sure you come by to thank her for all her help over the years.

Come help us empty the store, lots of sale items! Don’t miss out! Thursday Night in Knots will continue through the end of May, our last night will be the broom clean night, meaning we leave the shop fully swept and empty.
